Requirements

  • Working towards completion of High School Diploma and little or no work-related experience
  • Alignment with AdaptAbilities core purpose and core values
  • Police Information Check (PIC) and Intervention Record Check (IRC) required if 18 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

  • Basic First Aid with CPR (can be completed in Physical Education 10) is an asset

  • Provide support for direct care and purposeful support in an engaging, fun and safe environment

  • Communicate effectively with their team members, which includes to individuals, families, and co-workers
  • Build a vision of inclusion, one person at a time

  • Maintain timely, accurate and professional documents in accordance with AdaptAbilities policies and procedures
  • Understand and comply with all emergency processes and risk management
  • Perform other job-related activities as required
