About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a caring, reliable, and energetic Respite Care Provider to support a youth in Wisconsin. The member enjoys a variety of home-based and community activities, including Pokémon Go, Dungeons & Dragons, technology-based activities, social outings, walks, bike rides, and cross-country activities. The role offers varied settings rather than working in one location all day, with services provided in the member's home and throughout the community. The schedule is approximately 8 hours per week, primarily during late afternoons, plus two days per month. Pay is $17.66 per hour or $256 per day.

If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and has sole authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker. Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting.

Requirements

• Be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Be able to engage in both active community outings and home-based activities.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have auto insurance.
• Pass required background checks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
