About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a Respite Provider to support a young person in Wisconsin. The member enjoys Pokémon Go, Dungeons & Dragons, technology-based activities, community and social outings, walks, bike rides, and cross-country activities. Services take place in the member’s home and throughout the community, offering a variety of activities and settings.

The schedule is approximately 8 hours per week, primarily during late afternoon hours, plus 2 days per month. Pay is $17.66 per hour or $256 per day. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that person or party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and will have sole authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker. Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting.

Requirements

• Be dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Be able to engage in both active community outings and home-based activities.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have auto insurance.
• Pass required background checks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children or individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
