Provide respite support to a fun-loving, creative young girl in New Berlin, Wisconsin. The role is an opportunity to help an individual have greater control over her supports and remain in her own home as long as possible. The provider will actively participate in activities the young girl enjoys, including singing, dancing, dress-up, arts and crafts, games, and community outings such as visits to pumpkin farms and the race track. The position is 10 hours per week and pays $14.13 per hour. The provider will support ongoing potty-training efforts and offer supervision and companionship in a safe, supportive environment. The family has cats, so the provider should be comfortable around pets. If hired by the Member or their Managing Party, that party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer and will have sole authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker.
