About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team for night shifts. This role involves assessing and monitoring patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions, administering prescribed treatments and therapies, and managing respiratory equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to evaluate patient responses, communicate effectively with the healthcare team, and respond to respiratory emergencies.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy – required
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in the State of North Carolina – required
• Ability to work effectively in emergency and high-acuity situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ability to work a night-shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered.
• Provide oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory interventions.
• Monitor and manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment as appropriate.
• Evaluate patients’ responses to treatment and communicate significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with emergency and critical-care situations.
