About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care and diagnostic services in a NICU setting. The position is located at a facility in the region identified as City, State. The schedule is Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Candidates must be available to work major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, as well as one minor holiday, such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a NICU setting.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Georgia Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
- RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Two professional references are required.
- Availability to work major holidays, including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day, and one minor holiday.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed.
- Monitor patients and assess their respiratory status.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
