About The Position

This is a six-month contract Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position based onsite in the Respiratory department at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, Ohio. The therapist will work with pediatric patients in the RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU, and may be assigned to float to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, or Hillcrest NICU. The schedule is listed as day shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:30; the posting also notes that 3x12 or 4x12 shifts may be worked. Pay is $56.00–$60.00 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. COVID-19 and flu vaccination are required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Travelers must complete two fingerprintings: one onsite immediately before starting to meet facility requirements and one through the agency. All time-off and scheduling requests must be communicated during submission and interview. Candidates must include all work history, including gap positions, in their profile and provide copies of required certifications at submission.

Requirements

NBRC certification.
BLS certification.
Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
Ohio RRT license, in hand at the time of submission.
At least one year of experience.
Experience in pediatrics, PICU, and high-level, Level 4 NICU care.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; sponsorship or visa transfer is unavailable.
COVID-19 vaccination; medical or religious exemptions only.
Flu vaccination; medical or religious exemptions only.
Complete two fingerprintings, one onsite immediately before starting and one through the agency.
Provide copies of required certifications at submission and include all work history, including gap positions, in the candidate profile.

Responsibilities

Work with pediatric patients in the RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU.
Float as needed to Shaker Children's Rehab, Fairview NICU, Akron NICU, and Hillcrest NICU.
