About The Position

The staff Respiratory Therapist demonstrates proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, with additional competency in NICU and pediatric patient care. The therapist executes assigned duties in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies and may work with respiratory students in the clinical care setting.

Requirements

Neonatal Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
Certificate as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT).
State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner credential.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or BCLS Instructor credential.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or PALS Instructor credential must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, including NICU and pediatric patient care.
Execute assigned responsibilities in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
May work with respiratory students in the clinical care setting.
