Respiratory Therapist (Contract) - San Antonio, Texas
About The Position
Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) and Pulmonary Function Technologists (CPFT or RPFT) to perform simple pre- and post-albuterol spirometry testing at primary care clinics in the San Antonio area. The role involves visiting local clinics, coaching and educating patients, administering albuterol when indicated, monitoring patients, grading and uploading tests for pulmonologist review, and maintaining equipment and quality and safety standards. The position offers a flexible Monday–Friday daytime schedule of one to five days per week, with no nights, weekends, or holidays, and is a 1099 contractor role. Compensation is $245–$300 per day. Crosswalk Health brings guideline-based spirometry into primary care clinics through a technology-enabled model, aiming to support earlier diagnoses and improve access to specialty respiratory care, particularly in rural and underserved communities. The company reports having a team of 60 respiratory therapists serving 19 regions in 9 states.
Requirements
- Current CRT, RRT, CPFT, or RPFT credential.
- Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
- Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
- Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.
- Available to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities
