About The Position

Cardinal Senior Care is seeking dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to seniors in their homes in San Antonio, Texas, and surrounding areas. The role helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Care assignments are based on client needs and caregiver availability, with morning and afternoon shifts potentially available. Caregivers are supported by the Cardinal Senior Care team and use a mobile app for scheduling and communication.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
• CNA required.
• Caring, patient, dependable, and respectful personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible availability for assigned shifts.
• Two valid forms of identification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to senior clients.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment.
• Help with meal preparation as needed.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed.
• Communicate important client updates to the Cardinal Senior Care team.
• Build trusting and respectful relationships with clients and their families.
