About The Position

Performance Home Medical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to join its Clinical Team in San Antonio, Texas. The role provides respiratory care and support to patients and caregivers, helping them manage respiratory needs and use respiratory therapies and equipment confidently. The therapist conducts home and hospital visits, assesses patient needs, provides follow-up care, and ensures equipment functions properly. The position follows a Monday-through-Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with an occasional on-call rotation. Requirements

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
• An active Respiratory Therapist license in Texas, in accordance with state regulatory requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for home and hospital visits.
• Passion for patient care and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Educate, support, and empower patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on respiratory therapies and equipment management.
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and provide instruction on CPAP/Bi-level therapy, home ventilators, Cough Assist devices, and oscillation vests.
• Conduct home and hospital visits to assess patient needs and provide follow-up care.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Complete thorough and timely documentation to maintain compliance and patient records.
