About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to work closely with patients suffering from cardiopulmonary disorders and collaborate with physicians to develop effective treatment plans. The position is based in the city and state of the candidate’s consideration. The schedule consists of three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, with flexibility to accommodate occasional early or late meetings as required.

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certification.
• Licensed as a CRT and RRT.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Successful completion of the certification exam.
• Ability to work three consecutive 12-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM and accommodate occasional early or late meetings.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements, including prolonged standing and/or sitting, occasional bending, stooping, or stretching, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
• Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Comfort using office equipment such as computers, telephones, fax machines, and copiers.

Responsibilities

• Interview and examine patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Consult with physicians to create and implement treatment plans.
• Monitor and record treatment progress, ensuring accurate documentation in patient charts.
• Administer treatments using methods including chest physiotherapy and aerosol treatments.
