About The Position
Join our dynamic team where you will work with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) patients and the adult population. The facility features a total of 36 beds, typically accommodating between 18-20 patients, providing a diverse and stimulating work environment. Responsibilities will span across all patient types within the facility, specifically focusing on the NICU for the RT NICU position. Patient ratios will depend on the staffing levels and may vary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level 3 NICU setting.
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- BLS and NRP certifications.
- Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapists (CRT) with the required experience.
Nice To Haves
- ACLS/APLS certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work effectively in a Level 3 NICU environment, demonstrating the ability to function independently, especially during night shifts.
- Provide respiratory care for both adult and NICU patients.
- Perform ground transports and administer Nitric Oxide as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
