About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide essential care to patients requiring respiratory support and services. The role involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and alongside professionals committed to high-quality patient care. The unit has a total bed capacity of 383 and is staffed by experienced professionals. The schedule is 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The environment offers access to respiratory technology and equipment, opportunities for professional growth, and flexible scheduling options.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- NRP or STABLE certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant respiratory role.
Nice To Haves
- ICU experience.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as directed by medical staff.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as needed.
- Use respiratory equipment including Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
- Accurately document patient care activities in the Meditech EMR system.
- Maintain compliance with best practices and unit protocols.
