About The Position

This position involves working 12-hour shifts within a rotating schedule, requiring every other weekend commitment and availability for applicable holidays. NICU experience is essential for this role. Candidates must be prepared to care for NICU patients as needed. NRP certification is required.

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - CRT will not be considered.
• South Dakota RCP License (SDBMOE.gov) - must be obtained prior to submission.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS are mandatory.
• NRP certification required for those working in NICU.
• Associate's Degree in a related field.
• Critical care experience.
• General respiratory care experience.
• EPIC charting system experience

Responsibilities

• Care for Pediatric Critical Care patients
• Care for Neonatal Critical Care patients
• Provide General Inpatient Respiratory Care
• Care for NICU patients as needed
• Provide coverage for the entire hospital and emergency department
