About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer general respiratory care modalities in all areas, excluding NICU, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to function independently in PICU and all adult intensive care areas, implement and monitor therapeutic modalities per physician's orders, and provide on-call staffing for department needs. This position offers an opportunity to develop and broaden assessment skills, communication skills, and knowledge base while preparing for the next level, Respiratory Therapist Critical Care. The position reports to the Respiratory Care Lead and supervises None.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• None
• Must possess & maintain licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the State of Florida Department of Health and the National Board of Respiratory Care
• Possess Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
• Possess Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• Possess Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program Certification (NRP) preferred-must be obtained within 90 days of start
