About The Position

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. This role creates an optimal environment for Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care. The position serves as an Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager, aiding in all aspects of implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information system. The technologist provides the necessary technology, supplies, policies, and procedures for quality work, acting as an interface with administration and clients. Additionally, the role assists the Section Head in ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set forth by TMH, TJC, and CAP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program.
• None required experience.
• State of Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology.
