About The Position
Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system that provides advanced care to a 21-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. TMH is the region’s healthcare leader and top provider of advanced care with a 772-bed acute care hospital and the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and the most advanced cancer, heart and vascular, orthopedic & surgery programs in the Panhandle. Our system also includes a psychiatric hospital, multiple specialty care centers, four residency programs and nearly 40 affiliated physician practices. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus if certain conditions are met, including acceptance of a full-time position (0.9 FTE or greater), and if a former employee, must have been separated from the organization for at least 12 months. Certain job-related experience requirements may apply.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
- Licensed by the Florida Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 483 (Health Testing Services), Part I (Clinical Laboratory Personnel) with added specialties in clinical chemistry, and/or hematology, and/or microbiology, and/or serology.
