Respiratory Therapist, Full Time

About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director and/or Assistant Director of Respiratory Care, and upon physician request, the Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and provides therapy used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with respiratory disease, compromise, or illness. The position has full access to patient health information and may access medication storage areas, excluding controlled substances, as related to job responsibilities. This full-time position works 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and is eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
BLS certification through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
Must pass the basic FIT test for the position and possess a full range of body motion, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
