About The Position

The Respiratory Therapist works across multiple patient care areas, including the ICU, ER, Med-surg, and NICU, providing respiratory therapy to diverse patient populations, including adults and neonates. The unit has 330 beds and patient ratios of 30. Equipment includes Draeger vents, Hamilton vents, V60s, and High Flow. The electronic medical record system is Allscripts Sunrise.

This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and technology in a collaborative environment. The dedicated staff brings a wealth of experience, and flexible scheduling options are available. Specific uniform requirements will be provided upon hiring.

Requirements

• CRT or RRT certification through the NBRC.
• New Hampshire Respiratory License.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• Ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
• Effective communication and professional interaction with patients.

Nice To Haves

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Mechanical skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer nebulizers, CPAP/BIPAP, and other respiratory therapies.
• Monitor and adjust ventilator settings as needed.
• Provide chest physiotherapy.
• Interact professionally with patients and families.
