About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist assesses patients’ respiratory care needs using various data sources, then plans, organizes, performs, and evaluates treatment modalities to meet those needs and support an optimal patient and family experience. The position is located in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and offers 36 hours of work per week. Availability is required every other weekend and holiday; there are no on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- CRT or RRT credential.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Pennsylvania state license.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ respiratory care requirements through comprehensive evaluation.
- Plan and implement appropriate treatment protocols and modalities.
- Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust as needed.
- Facilitate optimal interactions with patients and their families.
