About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team. The role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience in respiratory care. The position is based in the city of City, State, and requires flexible scheduling, including night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, and specified major and minor holidays.

Requirements

• At least two years of recent experience in respiratory care.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Valid Georgia RRT license.
• NBRC-RRT certification.
• At least two professional references.
• Availability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day), and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory conditions and adjust treatments as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about respiratory care techniques and equipment.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
