About The Position
Regency Hospital - Cleveland East is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Respiratory Therapists provide compassionate care to patients during vulnerable periods and treat patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions. The role is based in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, with full-time day and night schedules available. Compensation is $34.92–$47 per hour, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The hospital offers an extensive Respiratory Therapist orientation program, tuition reimbursement and continuing education, a clinical ladder program, and a student debt benefit program. Requirements
- Must possess an active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
- Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the start date.
- Current state licensure is required.
- ACLS is required within six months of hire. Agency respiratory therapists must have ACLS by their first shift, and PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.

- One year of related experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Teach and counsel patients and families.
