About The Position

This position is for a Respiratory Therapist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Savannah, GA. The role involves managing ventilated patients, utilizing various ventilation and therapy equipment, and documenting care in Epic. The shift is a 12-hour night shift, starting at 7 PM.

Requirements

• 1+ year of Neonatal ICU or PICU critical care experience
• PALS certification

Nice To Haves

• Ability to independently admit and manage ventilated patients in Pediatric ICU using Servo-U ventilator.
• Setup and manage heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive measures.
• Familiarity with non-invasive ventilation, including the use of BiPAP and CPAP.
• Neonatal skills including Bubble CPAP, and use of nitric oxide and high-frequency ventilation.
