About The Position

This position supports a Hematology and Oncology clinic by assisting with patient care and administrative responsibilities. The Medical Assistant will work closely with providers to ensure efficient clinic operations and provide high-quality care to patients.

Requirements

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA-C) required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a similar setting
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, specifically Epic

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist providers during examinations
• Gather medical records, prepare charts, and conduct chart abstraction as needed
• Perform clinical tasks in accordance with established protocols and procedures
• Ensure a patient-centered approach to care, addressing patient needs and concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the clinic
