About The Position

This is a travel/contract Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics position specializing in RRT-NICU, serving pediatric patients in PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU. The role is onsite in Greenville, South Carolina. Staff may be asked to float to other units or campuses in response to census needs, but only to areas where they are qualified and have demonstrated and documented competencies. The schedule is days, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30, with coverage every other weekend. The contract duration is three months, and the pay rate is $53.00–$57.33 per hour. Orientation is 16 hours and is non-billable. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. A flu vaccine is required with no exemptions; a COVID-19 vaccine is not required.

Requirements

Experience working in ER, Pediatric Critical Care, and PEDs settings.
At least one year of experience with the EPIC documentation system.
Proficiency with Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems.
BLS certification.
NRP certification.
PALS certification.
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) for SC license.
RT license.
Authorization to work for any employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostics services to pediatric patients across PEDs floors, PICU, ER, and NICU.
Float to other units and/or campuses when requested due to census concerns, within demonstrated and documented competencies.
Use Pyxis and Omnicell medication systems.
Document using EPIC.
Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend rotation.
