Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics - Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
About The Position
This position is for a Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech in Oregon. The role is with a Short Term Acute Care facility that has 108 total staff beds. Scrubs are provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU and Maternal Child units, while other RN/Allied staff can wear any color. Charting is done via Epic. Parking is free. The role does not require on-call duties, but weekends are required, with the Friday night shift extending into Saturday morning. Block schedules are required. The expected ratio is 2:1. A significant requirement is having the Oregon (OR) license in hand. There is a non-billable orientation (NBO) period which is 0 hours, as opposed to a standard 40-hour orientation. The position does not float between units.
Requirements
- Must have Oregon (OR) license in hand.
- Must pass the Oregon State Law & Rules Exam.
- Must complete fingerprinting for the Oregon license.
- Must apply for the Oregon license and submit all requirements.
- Must be able to come to Oregon 2-3 weeks prior to job assignment to complete the Laws and Rules Exam in the office.
- Must submit a completed application FIRST prior to completing fingerprints.

Responsibilities
