PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for its diverse patient population. The role serves chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a commitment and desire to learn are also welcome. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains equipment in working order. The practitioner also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested, and performs other related duties as assigned. The role requires state certification or licensure to practice respiratory care, along with current BLS and ACLS certification. Blood gas licensure is required for employees in Nevada. At hospitals that perform arterial punctures or run blood gases, a high school diploma is required and an associate degree is preferred.
