About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) for its new rehabilitation hospital in Aiken. The RCP provides respiratory and cardiopulmonary care to a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients requiring extended hospital care. The role performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures; maintains equipment in working order; and provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested. The hospital welcomes candidates with prior inpatient hospital experience or a commitment to learn.

Requirements

• Be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Blood gas licensure is required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
• An associate degree is preferred for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases.
• Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
