About The Position

PAM Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide care to a diverse patient population at PAM Health Jupiter Health. PAM Health cares for chronically and critically ill patients who need extended hospital care. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures and maintains equipment in working order. The role also provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested. The position is listed as PRN Nights. The ideal candidate has prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. Requirements

Must be certified or licensed in the state where the hospital is located to practice respiratory care.
Must possess and maintain current BLS certification.
Must possess and maintain current ACLS certification.
Blood gas licensure is required if employed in Nevada.
For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, a high school diploma is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
At least one year of clinical respiratory experience is preferred.
An associate degree is preferred for hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases.
