About The Position

At NorthBay Health, the Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is responsible, accountable, and has the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality respiratory care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives, policies, procedures, guidelines, and objectives of Respiratory Care Services. The RCP, utilizing the Relationship Based Care Model and the four C’s of the NorthBay Way, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for all patients assigned to his/her care. The RCP makes determinations regarding the progress of the patient toward goals and utilizes a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic, developmental, and psychosocial needs of the patient. Supports the mission, vision, values, and expectations of excellence of the organization.

Requirements
