The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is looking for a dependable, flexible, and caring Resource Teacher to join our team! Requirements

A high school diploma is required.
You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children and meet all required state background check, education, experience, and credential requirements.

Nice To Haves

An associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
Previous experience working with children is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person who has a genuine passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Support Lead and Assistant Teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
Work with infants, toddlers, twos, preschool, and pre-K children depending on the needs of the school
Build positive relationships with children across different age groups
Step into classrooms to provide additional support during busy times, breaks, transitions, and staff absences
Engage children through play, conversation, books, music, movement, sensory experiences, and age-appropriate activities
Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, toileting, nap, and transitions
Help maintain clean, organized, and inviting classrooms
Support teachers with classroom preparation, cleaning, and organization
Follow classroom routines, curriculum, health and safety procedures, and state licensing requirements
Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, and team members
Be a dependable team member who is ready to jump in and help wherever needed
