Temp- Resource Room Paraeducator
About The Position
This is a temporary Resource Room Paraeducator assignment. Under the direction and supervision of a building administrator and the supervision of licensed or certificated staff, the paraeducator performs tasks related to student instruction and supervision. The role also involves preparing instructional materials, implementing behavior management plans, providing general health room support, performing limited clerical and reception tasks, and providing personal health-related services for medically fragile students or students with special needs. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor. The assignment is scheduled to begin December 7, 2026, and run through March 17, 2027. The position is 6.25 hours daily.
Requirements
- Meet the paraeducator job-term requirement through one of the following: two years of study at an institution of higher education meeting the stated criteria, with all classes at level 100 or higher; an associate degree or higher (all associate degrees are acceptable); or a passing score on the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
Responsibilities
