Temp- 1:1 Resource Room Paraeducator
About The Position
This is a temporary 1:1 Resource Room Paraeducator assignment. Under the direction and supervision of a building administrator and licensed or certificated staff, the paraeducator supports student instruction and supervision. The role may also involve preparing instructional materials, implementing behavior management plans, providing general health room support, performing limited clerical and reception tasks, providing personal health-related services to medically fragile students or students with special needs, and completing other duties assigned by a supervisor. The assignment is scheduled to begin ASAP and run through December 18. The position is 6.25 hours daily. Requirements
- Meet one of the stated paraeducator qualification options: two years of study at an institution of higher education, with all classes at level 100 or higher and an institution meeting the five criteria of the Higher Education Act; an associate degree or higher; or passing the ETS ParaPro Assessment.
Responsibilities
