Resource Navigator
About The Position
A Resource Navigator contributes to AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) by directing and referring clients at risk of HIV to PrEP services and community resources for behavioral health, substance use, crisis intervention, transportation, housing, and food assistance. The role supports clients through exceptional customer service and by maintaining and continually updating knowledge of community resources to provide current, effective assistance. The Resource Navigator advocates for AHF’s initiatives and keeps the organization’s core values and mission central to their work. The role operates in a dynamic environment and is part of a close-knit, collaborative team that addresses logistical challenges and promotes quality and continuity of care. Staff may be accountable to multiple leaders.
Responsibilities
- Direct and refer clients at risk of HIV to PrEP services.
- Connect clients with community resources for behavioral health, substance use, crisis intervention, transportation, housing, and food assistance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Maintain and continually update knowledge of community resources to provide current and effective support.
- Advocate for AHF’s initiatives and uphold its core values and mission.
- Collaborate with a close-knit team to overcome logistical challenges and enhance the quality and continuity of care.
