About The Position

We are seeking a Resource Chief Marketing Officer to join our team! This role involves providing oversight of business development activity for assigned hospitals, training sales leaders, and serving as primary support for covering departmental vacancies, often requiring onsite support and frequent overnight travel. The employee will assist hospitals with managing strategic planning, driving sales activities, and supervising team members. When on assignment, the resource CMO will act as the hospital's business development department leader or Clinical Liaison, responsible for designing and implementing processes that support business growth. The resource CMO will work with assigned hospitals' business development teams to maintain referrals and admissions, complying with state and CMS rules and regulations and Vibra Healthcare policies. This role involves working closely with hospital management and clinical teams, maintaining positive relationships. As a trainer, the resource CMO will coordinate the orientation process for new sales leaders. When filling a vacancy, the employee will help manage the hospital's business development team on an interim basis, including recruitment, team development, and retention. The resource CMO will provide marketing leadership, education, training, coaching, and support to assist team members in building relationships and exceeding business objectives. When assigned to provide direct clinical liaison coverage, the employee assumes responsibility for meeting and exceeding referral and admission goals, conducting onsite sales and marketing activities, and developing relationships with case managers, physicians, discharge planners, and other referral sources. This role involves identifying and evaluating potential patients, completing pre-admission assessments, and meeting with patients and family members to provide education and assist with decision-making. Collaboration with referral sources and hospital teams is crucial for facilitating admissions. The resource CMO will aid assigned hospitals in facilitating overall business growth by driving prospects, identifying new customers and markets, and developing new approaches. This employee will utilize strategic thinking and sharp execution to enable the business to exceed revenue, census, and admission goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Respiratory Therapist required in the state where support is provided.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in marketing/leadership in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong background in client services and relationship management required.
  • Supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with referral sources and hospital clinical and admissions teams to facilitate safe, appropriate, and timely patient admissions.
  • Maintain required documentation, communicate referral status and barriers, and provide timely follow-up throughout the referral and admission process.
  • Aid assigned hospitals in facilitating overall business growth.
  • Drive prospects, identify new customers and markets, and develop new approaches to markets.
  • Utilize strategic thinking and sharp executions to enable the business to exceed revenue, census, and admission goals.
