CEO Life
•$150,000 - $250,000

About The Position

CEO Life is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to own and operate 'The Road to 20,' their growth system designed to generate awareness, leads, appointments, and qualified prospective members for each CEO Life chapter to consistently add 20 new members every month. This is a high-accountability role focused on growth, strategy, execution, and leadership, responsible for taking a chapter from market strategy through campaign execution, appointment generation, measurement, optimization, and scale. The CMO will architect the strategy, build and lead a team of Marketing Managers, establish infrastructure and processes, and ensure each chapter has an effective, measurable, and continuously improving marketing plan. The objective is to build a predictable system capable of generating 6–10 qualified appointments per day, per chapter, ultimately supporting 20 new members per month. This role requires a builder and operator who can move with urgency in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated experience managing significant advertising budgets and multiple simultaneous markets.

Requirements

  • Significant experience building and scaling performance-driven customer acquisition systems.
  • Deep understanding of how paid media, funnels, creative, copy, CRM, automation, analytics, and sales conversion work together.
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant advertising budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous markets or business units.
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing sufficient to challenge agencies, media buyers, copywriters, or Marketing Managers.
  • Ability to build strategy in the morning, review Meta performance at noon, diagnose a funnel problem in the afternoon, and present a corrective plan to a Chapter Partner before the end of the day.
  • Highly analytical.
  • Extremely organized.
  • Decisive.
  • Comfortable with accountability.
  • Capable of leading a rapidly growing team.
  • Experience marketing to CEOs, entrepreneurs, executives, affluent consumers, professional services, memberships, franchises, multi-location businesses, or high-ticket products/services is highly valuable.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop CEO Life's chapter-level marketing strategy, 'The Road to 20,' turning it into a scalable operating system deployable across numerous markets.
  • Determine the optimal combination of marketing channels and tactics, including Meta/Facebook/Instagram advertising, LinkedIn advertising and prospecting, outbound email, retargeting, organic social media, local event marketing, referral programs, landing pages, funnels, lead nurturing, and appointment-generation campaigns.
  • Develop an individualized Road to 20 marketing plan for every CEO Life chapter based on its market, demographics, membership profile, maturity, historical performance, local opportunities, and available acquisition channels.
  • Establish the strategy to move each chapter through the entire acquisition funnel: Market → Audience → Lead → Nurture → Appointment → Qualified Appointment → Interview → New Member.
  • Work backward from the goal of 20 new members per month to determine required lead volume, appointment volume, media budget, channels, and conversion rates.
  • Build a predictable acquisition engine designed to generate approximately 6–10 qualified appointments per business day, per chapter.
  • Own the marketing performance required to maintain the necessary pipeline of prospective CEOs, entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, and C-suite executives.
  • Constantly evaluate Cost per lead, Cost per appointment, Show rate, Qualified appointment rate, Close rate, CAC, and New members.
  • Develop and oversee paid acquisition strategy across platforms including Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, owning campaign architecture, audiences, targeting, creative strategy, offers, messaging, retargeting, budgets, testing protocols, and performance optimization.
  • Determine where CEO Life should increase investment, reduce investment, or discontinue channels based on actual acquisition economics.
  • Design and continuously improve the complete prospective-member journey, owning the strategy behind the Ad → Landing Page → Application → Qualification → Appointment → Reminder/Nurture → Interview flow.
  • Identify and eliminate conversion friction throughout the funnel, developing landing pages, application flows, messaging, lead nurturing, SMS/email sequences, appointment reminders, and retargeting campaigns that increase both appointment volume and quality.
  • Establish the creative strategy and messaging architecture for CEO Life member acquisition, developing and overseeing ad concepts, hooks, headlines, offers, video concepts, social creative, landing-page copy, email copy, SMS copy, retargeting messaging, and campaign positioning.
  • Create systems for quickly identifying and deploying winning creative and messaging across appropriate markets.
  • Build, train, manage, and develop a team of Marketing Managers who execute the Road to 20 strategy at the individual chapter level.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), reporting, Quality Assurance (QA) standards, campaign templates, testing protocols, and performance reviews for the marketing team.
  • Create a management structure ensuring Marketing Managers understand objectives, timelines, accountability, and corrective actions for underperformance.
  • Communicate confidently with Chapter Partners (business owners) regarding marketing performance, including spend, leads, appointments, show rates, conversion, members, CAC, and forecasts.
  • Identify problems, communicate solutions, and lead corrective actions for underperforming chapters.
  • Build a centralized command center for chapter marketing performance, enabling immediate identification of performing and underperforming chapters, channels, campaigns, funnels, creatives, and Marketing Managers.
  • Develop dashboards and scorecards tracking key metrics including marketing spend, leads generated, cost per lead, appointments booked, cost per appointment, appointments held, show rate, qualified appointment rate, close rate, new members, CAC, revenue generated, marketing ROI, and performance against Road to 20.
  • Use data to make quick decisions.
  • Architect, build, lead, and continuously improve the growth engine behind CEO Life's chapters.
