Resort Experience Host
About The Position
The Resort Experience Host curates engaging activities for adults and children and helps ensure guests have an unforgettable stay. The role demonstrates Westgate’s values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in interactions with guests and team members. Responsibilities include leading activities and special events, developing new activity ideas, tracking guest participation, handling monetary transactions, checking out equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized Activities Center, boat dock, and surrounding areas. The host may also perform duties equivalent to an Activities Attendant and assist with inventory management.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to delivering excellent service.
- Ability to move and lift 50 lbs and work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license to operate company golf carts.
- Must pass a background check and drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a diverse range of activities for adults and children.
- Participate in special events to elevate guest experiences.
- Propose and develop ongoing activity ideas to enrich guest stays.
- Maintain a detailed daily log and track guest participation.
- Manage monetary transactions and follow accounting procedures.
- Perform duties equivalent to an Activities Attendant when required.
- Use computer skills to check out equipment to resort guests.
- Enforce safety regulations and guidelines for guest welfare.
- Keep the Activities Center, boat dock, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
