Resort Activities Host - PART TIME
About The Position
The Resort Activities Host coordinates and leads recreational programs for guests of all ages, creating engaging experiences based on guest interests, resort needs, and the season. Activities may include classes, games, competitions, mixers, holiday events, and themed events. The host answers guest questions, shares resort information, and helps resolve concerns with a friendly attitude. The role also manages recreation inventory, orders supplies within budget, and supports other departments as needed to provide a seamless guest experience. The position pays $16 per hour and is part-time.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of previous activities or recreation experience, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Creativity and polished customer service skills to enhance guest interactions and activities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; 90–100% of the shift is spent standing.
- Ability to make decisions using personal judgment and company policy.
- Ability to occasionally carry and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must pass a background check and drug test and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
