About The Position

HSP US is rapidly expanding as we are building a world-class manufacturing and operations hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. At the core of our operation is advanced resin casting technology, used to produce high-performance components that power the electrical grid, support renewable energy, and enable the growth of AI-driven data centers. We are hiring a Resin Operator (Casting) to support our production of high-voltage bushings, working with epoxy resin systems, vacuum casting processes, and precision curing technologies. This is a hands-on role critical to ensuring product integrity, insulation performance, and long-term reliability in demanding energy applications. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and process specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a physical production environment (standing, lifting, PPE use)
  • Safety-first mindset, especially when working with chemicals and heated equipment
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Technical training preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, casting, composites, or chemical processing is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with: Epoxy or polymer resin systems
  • Familiarity with: Vacuum systems and casting processes
  • Familiarity with: Autoclaves or thermal curing equipment (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with: Overhead cranes and material handling equipment

Responsibilities

  • Operate resin casting equipment, including mixing, degassing, and injection systems
  • Perform epoxy resin preparation, ensuring proper ratios, viscosity, and material handling
  • Prepare molds and components for casting, including preheating and surface preparation
  • Monitor and control vacuum, pressure, and temperature parameters during casting cycles
  • Support operation of autoclaves and curing ovens to ensure proper thermal and pressure curing profiles
  • Handle large molds and components using overhead cranes and lifting equipment
  • Inspect finished castings for defects, air voids, and quality compliance
  • Follow strict process controls and quality standards to ensure product reliability
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas, especially when handling chemical resins and curing agents
  • Record production data, material usage, and process conditions
