About The Position

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory has multiple openings for analysts supporting assessment of infrastructure resilience to cyber, physical, and supply chain threats. The role applies technical expertise, critical thinking, modeling and simulation, and analysis to complex, multi-domain problems; provides decision insight and communicates options and trade-offs; and supports integration of new technology for customer missions. Analysts integrate with research and development teams and work directly with operational organizations. The positions are in the Computational Engineering Division within the Engineering Directorate. Telework may be authorized at LLNL’s discretion based on policy, security, program, and performance requirements; it is not guaranteed and may change, including through onsite work requirements. Hiring may be at either the SES.2 or SES.3 level, based on assessed knowledge and related experience. Career Indefinite positions are open to laboratory employees and external candidates. The role requires eligibility to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access. Selected external applicants must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test. Depending on job duties, work in Limited Areas may restrict possession of personal or laboratory mobile and wireless devices.
