About The Position

RH is seeking a Residential Trade Leader to grow and lead the interior design trade business within a Gallery. The role calls for refined taste, a discerning eye for luxury, polished presentation, and a commitment to delivering first-class service to clients and teams. The leader attracts and develops talent that shares RH’s standards and passion, creating a luxury experience while advancing RH’s design and trade business.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a high-end interior design showroom or similar luxury setting.
• Results-driven, with a proven ability to motivate, influence and inspire a team.
• Superior organization and leadership skills.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience gaining insights from mistakes and seeking constructive feedback from colleagues and leaders to improve results.
• Commitment to quality and exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency with the Mac Operating System, Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
• Ability to read and understand floor plans.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and current driver’s license.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state.
• Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
• Ability to maneuver effectively around the Gallery floor, stock room and office.
• Ability to perform prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing.

• Build, lead, educate and inspire an effective team dedicated to servicing the interior design trade.
• Partner with the Gallery Leader to develop strategies for the trade business.
• Lead and oversee multiple trade projects of varying size and scope.
• Learn and communicate RH’s design point of view and product assortment.
• Represent RH at design community events and through consistent networking.
• Remain current on local and global design publications and industry trends.
• Support RH’s growing trade business in other Galleries by sharing learnings and best practices.
