About The Position

Altior Healthcare is a network of mental health treatment programs, including a specialized program for US Veterans. With over 15 locations across five states, they serve over 300 residential clients daily and employ over 500 staff. Altior comprises Paradigm Treatment and Ridge RTC, united by a commitment to exceptional mental health care. The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of an assigned dorm at a residential treatment center, ensuring client safety, well-being, and quality of care. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating coverage, enforcing policies, and escalating issues during their shift. The Residential Supervisor is the primary point of contact and accountability for their assigned shift.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a residential, behavioral health, or human services setting.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and compliance needs (water safety, CPR, etc) per state licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in human services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach residential direct care staff (Lead Clinical Assistants and Clinical Assistants) to ensure adequate coverage and quality of care across all shifts.
  • Work with the Program Administrator on dorm shift coverage and communicate call-outs to team members.
  • Conduct regular staff check-ins, provide performance feedback, and support ongoing training and competency development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and training for new hires on shift to ensure they have the necessary tools and information.
  • Partner with clinical staff to monitor and enforce adherence to client treatment/support plans.
  • Respond to and de-escalate crisis situations, behavioral incidents, and emergencies; complete required incident documentation.
  • Partner with the medical team to oversee medication administration protocols.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of shift activities, client notes, and incident reports.
  • Serve as a liaison between direct care staff, clinical team, and program leadership.
  • Conduct facility safety checks and ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic living environment.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
  • Assist with quality assurance audits and corrective action plans as needed.
