About The Position

Ferguson Builders is looking for a skilled Residential Remodeling Carpenter to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position working on custom residential remodeling projects where quality craftsmanship, reliability, and attention to detail matter.

Requirements

2+ years of residential construction or carpentry experience preferred.
General knowledge of residential construction practices and building codes.
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely.
Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 80 lbs.
Ability to stand, climb, bend, kneel, and work in residential job-site environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with framing, finish carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, flooring, or tile is a plus.

Responsibilities

Build, install, adjust, and repair components for residential remodeling projects.
Measure, mark, cut, shape, and install construction materials accurately.
Perform a variety of residential construction and finish carpentry work.
Read and follow plans, measurements, specifications, safety requirements, and building codes.
Maintain high standards for quality and workmanship.
Keep job sites, tools, and equipment safe and organized.
Work with the Project Manager and production team to keep projects moving.
Maintain accurate records with Daily Logs.
Communicate clearly with the production team, clients, and trade partners as needed.
