About The Position

The Lead Carpenter position is responsible for the management of residential construction projects ranging in size and scope, from small bath remodels to the construction of custom new homes. Your main goals are to build projects within the set budget and develop a good relationship with the client with the end result being a profitable project and a happy customer. This is the place where a hard-working, go-getter can thrive – so let’s have a conversation! This is a Full Time, Mon-Fri position with a family-first approach. The company is a high-end, unique, residential remodel construction company that does projects in the New Hampshire Seacoast, Southern Maine, and in Northern Massachusetts, focusing on creative solutions and superior craftsmanship for the purpose of enhancing the clients' lives and nurturing employee success.

Requirements

5 years of lead carpenter experience.
Well organized and motivated.
Proficient speaking, writing, and communicating in the English language.
Competent mathematical skills.
Working knowledge of computers including email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
Maintain a valid driver’s license and state-required insurance.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of construction software like JobTread, Procore, BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, etc.

Clear and regular communication with customers, supervisor, and staff.
Completion of all necessary production reporting.
Prompt attendance at all required staff and department meetings.
Aggressively resolve conflicts and issues promptly and effectively with a “win-win” mindset.

Be knowledgeable of all carpentry techniques related to residential construction and remodeling and/or be responsible to gain knowledge in areas lacking.
