About The Position

The Residential Program Manager will oversee daily operations and lead a team of employees in delivering high-quality, person-centered supports. Requirements

  • Background supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential or similar settings.
  • Able to lead with clarity and accountability while supporting employee growth and team cohesion.
  • Able to remain calm, make sound decisions, and respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build trust with individuals, employees, and partners.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate documentation, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license (or transferable MVR).
  • Ability to pass a DHS background check.
  • Completion of pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with complex behaviors or co-occurring needs.
  • Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in residential or human services programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day oversight of the home, ensuring consistency in routines, expectations, and service delivery.
  • Train, coach, and support employees in best practices, including behavior supports, communication strategies, and daily care.
  • Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, families, and other partners to ensure coordinated and effective support.
  • Manage scheduling, documentation, and program systems while ensuring compliance with OARs, licensing requirements, and agency policies.
  • Maintain a safe environment through regular checks, staff training compliance, and adherence to all safety protocols.
