About The Position

Join Dungarvin's mission-driven team as a Residential Program Coordinator (RPC) and make a lasting impact by providing person-centered supports to individuals. Since 1976, Dungarvin has been dedicated to helping people live as independently as possible, working directly with individuals in need of assistance, and/or living with intellectual or developmental disabilities, or other complex medical needs. The team operates in 15 states, united by a commitment to making a real difference one person, one voice, one choice at a time. In this role, you will provide hands-on care, assisting individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, all while fostering independence. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that ensures comfort and support, helping individuals reach their personal goals. The position also involves mentoring and guiding individuals through supervision, positive reinforcement, and support to achieve their aspirations. Additionally, you will assist with staff scheduling, maintain consistency in programming and individual care, and facilitate communication with staff and support team members. Household management is also a key aspect, coordinating various services including individual finances, activities, program services, family involvement, educational/vocational programs, health care/nutrition, and overall household management.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities and/or one-year of lead staff experience or a two-year degree in a related field.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Passion for Helping Others: Experience with mental health conditions (e.g., bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety)
  • Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.
  • Good communication is key in this role. You’ll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.

  • Prior experience in Residential Services is preferred.
