As a Residential Program Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Adult Residential Program by providing top-notch administrative and clerical support. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will directly contribute to creating a supportive, well-coordinated environment for both staff and people supported. If you're looking for a rewarding position where your talents make a real impact, this is the role for you! This is an entry-level full-time hourly (non-exempt) administrative position. Typical work schedule is M-F 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, HOWEVER, this position is also required to fill in as direct care staff in the houses, which may occasionally require working outside these stated hours. Pay $19.16 per hour

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED
  • Has a minimum of two (2) years of clerical/administrative experience AND some advanced education/professional development classes/certifications in providing administrative support.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other computer software programs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in the U.S. for at least two (2) years, not counting time on a learner’s permit, with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings which include: a background check, drug screening, physical/ergonomic testing, and a math & reading comprehension test.
  • Physically fit to lift and transfer at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the persons served.
