About The Position

The Residential Nurse supports the health and wellness of residents in the Transitional Services program. The role provides compassionate nursing care, coordinates with interdisciplinary teams, and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment that fosters hope, stability, and growth. The position is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week.

The employer is offering a $4,000 retention bonus. Retention bonuses are paid according to the bonus policy, and exclusions may apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Practical Nursing certificate or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• LPN, RN, GPN, or GN licensure/certification; GPN/GN candidates must pass the Missouri NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring residents’ physical and mental health.
• Manage medications safely and accurately, including documentation, controlled substances, and patient education.
• Coordinate care with staff, families, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures and guide new staff on protocols.
• Participate in team and leadership meetings and support a positive, mission-driven care environment.
• Engage residents in individual or group activities to promote wellness and skill development.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including lifting equipment or residents when needed.
