About The Position

InReach is seeking a dedicated Residential Manager to live-in at one of our Residential Homes in Charlotte, NC. This role involves providing support and supervision to 5-6 individuals with Intellectual and other Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) in a home setting. The Residential Manager will train residents in essential life skills such as cooking, housekeeping, leisure activities, and routine healthcare. Additionally, the role includes supervising 3-4 part-time staff members, overseeing the home's budget, planning weekly menus, grocery shopping, providing transportation, managing healthcare, planning recreational activities, and reporting maintenance needs. This is a live-in position that includes free room and board, requiring overnight stays from Sunday night through Thursday night in a private bedroom with a private bathroom. The candidate must be willing to use the residential home address as their residential address on their driver's license. The typical work week is 60-70 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Six months of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities (paid or volunteer) and one year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • One year of direct experience working with individuals with disabilities (paid or volunteer) and six months of supervisory experience preferred.
  • In lieu of experience with disabilities, other relevant experience may be considered with additional on the job training.

Responsibilities
